Miekeraai

Mia started selling earrings and trendy accessories to friends and family in 2019 to earn some additional pocket money, as she was a full-time student. She soon realised that the demand for fashionable and affordable accessories was growing exponentially, and her stock kept multiplying!  To keep up with the administrative task of fulfilling orders which came with Instagram, Facebook, e-mails, Whatsapps, etc. she soon realised that an online shop would be the only way to go.

Mia’s memories of when she was little, are with an overload of all her mom’s jewellery, make-up, and high-heels. Selling something like accessories was a natural choice for her.  Even finding a name came easily!  

Being called Mia led to many nicknames like Mia-muis, Miekie and of course Miekeraai, which just felt perfectly right for her business. She then added ”Modemal” which refers to being madly in love with fashion… something which she loves to bring to everyone who shares her deep passion for style.
