Puffer Jackets
I so enjoyed wearing my puffer jacket for the first time this season. It’s one of those reversible ones from @kwaysa – medium grey and pale blue.
😎 What colour is your puffer jacket?
If you don’t have one or if you’re in the market for a new one, here are some fabulous puffer jackets currently available for sale online:
STYLE TIPS
👉 COLOUR
Always choose a colour that suits your skin tone. Think warm vs cool colours, light vs dark colours. Always go in harmony with your own skin. If you have bright eyes and clear skin, go for a shinier fabric. A matte fabric would suit those of us with softer features better.
👉 LENGTH
Here are those ideal length lines for perfect proportions again: – at the hip bone – a hand’s width below the belly button – where your thumbs end when you stand up straight with your arms at your sides – in the middle of your knee
👉 VOLUME
Puffer jackets add volume and can make you look bigger. If you are self-conscious about your upper body, you might feel more comfortable a different type of jacket or even a knit.
👉 BALANCE
The puffer jacket is already making your upper torso look larger than it usually does, so you will need to balance it out with slim-fit pieces in your lower torso. If you are wearing wide-leg pants, go for a shorter jacket.
👉 STITCHING
Pay close attention to the stitching of the jackets available. Straight horizontal lines can make you appear bigger, where angular lines can actually have a slimming effect. Some of the puffer jackets also have a belt or special detail around the waist.
